I was always enamored with art and design my entire life. Growing up in NYC and seeing all the colors and the street art that surrounded me was intoxicating. My mother made it a point to introduce me to seeing masterworks that were hanging in the museums in NYC. From smaller galleries, to MoMA I absorbed it all.

I was always enamored with art and design my entire life. Growing up in NYC and seeing all the colors and the street art that surrounded me was intoxicating. My mother made it a point to introduce me to seeing masterworks that were hanging in the museums in NYC. From smaller galleries, to MoMA I absorbed it all.
As for jewelry, my mother was my main inspiration. She was always stylish and fashionable. With a few accessories, she would take something basic and escalate it to a new level. Whether it was a pair of earrings, a bold pendant or a striking bracelet, it always accentuated the outfit (which she sewed!). I went to school for art, but eventually became a nurse to support myself.
I started this business as a suggestion from a musician friend who I did some work for as favor (who gifted me my logo) and eventually I started making earrings where I had co-workers who started wanting to buy them. I began painting again as stress relief from the nursing job and I just showed people what I was doing and people started asking to buy them. Then I started getting serious about pursuing this as a business.

I use many different mediums, such as acrylics, fabrics and pastels. I recycle broken jewelry. I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style.

I enjoy music in most forms, I love collaborating with my husband Rush in helping him build guitars. I have no one thing that inspires me, I find inspiration in everything.
